She was young and free,
Her hair flew out behind her like ribbons when the wind blew,
Her eyes were like saphires sparkling in the sunlight,
And she heard the city calling her,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now.
Be careful your feet are on fire be gentle or else you will tire.
So she went and played,
She met up with her friends and went to party,
And they knew how to party,
They danced and drank and jived in the sweaty night
The city ground shook with the rhythm of their feet,
Every single cell in her body was pumping through the atmosphere,
And the city called
Come and play, come and play, come and play now,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now.
Be careful your feet are on fire be gentle or else you will tire.
She met a guy, he seemed to be a nice guy
He was wearing tailored clothes, his shoes were shiny.
His smile made her feel so good,
And they danced and shimmied into the night,
And they danced and shimmied into the night,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now.
She went back to his apartment,
It gleamed with silver and stainless steel and soft leather,
She was alone, she was alone with him,
And he called
Come and play, come and play, come and play now,
Come and play, come and play, come and play with me now.
But she didn’t like his game,
He hurt her, he hurt her bad,
Now she’s starting to think,
Where will she wake up?
Will she wake up at all?
And the city called
Come and play, come and play, come and play now,
Come and play, come and play, come and play now.
Be careful your feet are on fire be gentle or else you will tire.

The river rages on is a collaboration between Shona Jaunas and Samuel Harmand. Samuel lives in France and Shona lives in
New Zealand but they try to hook up somewhere in France as often as they can. One special place is a campsite right on the banks of the Dordogne where they played palet, swam and jammed. Finally in 2014 Samuel came to New Zealand, and over a month they produced the album....more
Cerebral palsy curbed his ability to play guitar the conventional way, so Nagoda learned double slide, this is his debut LP.
