about

I wrote this track for my mum, Patricia Holborow, who died October 13th 2012.

lyrics

Walk me down through the shadows
Let me sit in the breeze,
Let this wave of fear pass over,
Thoughts of you will always be near to me.
I hope and pray that you’re still there,
Even though I know you’re gone,
A hole the size of Egypt,
Has opened in my heart.
Walk me down through the shadows
Walk me down through the shadows
Let me sit in the breeze,
Let this wave of fear pass over,
Thoughts of you will always be near to me.
I scuttle round the edges,
Trying so hard not to fall in,
Looking for a place to get stable,
Got to find my own self within
Walk me down through the shadows
Walk me down through the shadows
Let me sit in the breeze,
Let this wave of fear pass over,
Thoughts of you will always be near to me.

about

Floating Trees Paekakariki, New Zealand

One special place is a campsite right on the banks of the Dordogne where they played palet, swam and jammed. Finally in 2014 Samuel came to New Zealand, and over a month they produced the album. ... more
